7 months

This time seven months from now, I'll be in a different continent. I'll be with different people, doing different things, different time zone... Instead of being inside this cubicle, pushing papers and making spreadsheets and going to staff meetings... I'll be outside, watching elephants, wearing tennis shoes, sleeping in a tent. I can't even explain how excited i am to be with those enormous creatures, something that's been around so much longer than we have, something i don't completely understand, and i can be in a place i've never been before, I can experience things i've never experienced before. I bet it smells different there, I bet I sleep different, I hope I love it. Deep down, I know I'll miss my friends, and especially now Chris if we're still dating, and my family. The comfort zone I've made here. People who listen to me and care what I say, people who want to spend time with me. I hope they still want to when I get back.
